Call for Papers

The organizing committee of the 1st Asian Pacific Conference Against Stroke cordially invites you to submit abstracts for oral/ poster presentations.

Abstracts must be submitted in English,and typed on the official abstract form ONLY. The length of the abstract should be a maximum of about 250 words. A computer-generated Times New Roman 12 point font is recommended. The abstract should contain summarised descriptions of the following : 1. Objective of the Study; 2. Methodology; 3. Results; 4. Conclusions.

Please send the completed abstract form to the conference secretariat together with the completed registration form and appropriate registration fee. The abstract will only be reviewed if accommpanied by the registration fee. The deadline for submission for abstracts is on or before 15 February, 2004. The corresponding author will then be notified immediately. If no notification is received by that date, please contact the Conference Secretariat.

Letter of Invitation

An official letter of invitation will be issued upon request. This invitation is only intended to facilitate participants' travel and visa arrangements. It in no way implies the provision of any support, financial or otherwise, from the organizing committee.

The organizing committee recommends that you submit your abstract eMail by completing the following Abstract Submission Form Word file download
 
Postal Submission
If you encounter difficulty submitting your abstract via the above online form, please download and complete this Abstract Submission Form (Word format) and send an electronic copy by mail(e.g. 3.5-inch floppy diskette) to the Conference Secretariat.
  • All abstracts must be typed in English, using 12-point size Times New Roman.
  • Abstracts should be typed single-spaced, with no spaced between paragraphs.
  • Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts in electronic format.
  • Abstract should be saved in MS Word 6.0 or later version on 3.5” floppy disk.
  • The disk must be labeled with the name, phone number and e-mail address, if any, of the sender, and the MS Word version used.
  • Authors are reminded to ensure the floppy disk is virus free. The disk should be sent together with the submission form.
  • Body of abstract is free; it may include objective, material and methods, results and conclusion.
  • The abstract is limited to 250 words.
  • Title should be in block letters. Type Author(s) name(s) in lower case, underline the presenting author, omitting degree and qualifications
  • Accepted abstracts will only be printed in the final program if the Presenting Author has registered and paid the registration fees in full by 15 March 2004.
  • Fax submissions will not be accepted.
