
一般而言,在多個專業人士的幫助下,很多病人都能夠回復到可以自我照顧的復康程度,病情較輕者甚至可恢復工作能力。但即使復原理想,病人也需長期接受觀察,預防再次中風。另外,良好的中風風險因素控制亦非常重要,市民平日應建立健康的生活模式,並定期接受「三高」檢測,即高血壓、高血糖及高血脂,進一步減低中風或再中風風險。
Generally, with the assistance of healthcare professionals, many stroke survivors can regain their ability to care for themselves, and in some instances, even return to work. Regardless of the degree of recovery, it is important to continue long-term medical follow-ups to prevent stroke recurrence. To lower the risk of stroke, including recurrent stroke, the general public should adopt a healthy lifestyle, and have good control of stroke risk factors by regularly monitoring the “triple H” – high blood pressure, high blood glucose, and high cholesterol.

控制高血壓

中風康復者和長期病患者要定期接受檢查和治療
Attend follow-ups and continue prescribed medications as instructed if you suffer from stroke or other chronic diseases
